Strongest in its class: Grandio blocs – nanohybrid composite CAD/CAM block

VOCO quality now also available for digital prosthetics

VOCO stands for excellent product quality, especially when it comes to composite materials. On the basis of this expertise, the portfolio is now being expanded into the field of CAD/CAM dentistry. With the Grandio blocs composite blocks, VOCO offers dentists and laboratories the opportunity to use all the advantages and strengths of the proven Grandio product family for digital prosthetics.

Given their far superior material strength, the fully cured composite blocks set new standards. With a filler content of 86%, Grandio blocs are the most highly filled in their class. The biaxial flexural strength also achieves outstanding values which are normally only associated with silicate ceramics, but the Grandio bloc is significantly more antagonist-friendly. Another plus is that the composite block can be milled more finely to achieve even greater accuracy of fit. Furthermore, this system saves time. On the one hand, the time-consuming firing process is dispensed with and, on the other hand, composites can be processed more quickly using abrasives. Thanks to their excellent polishing properties, the aesthetics of the composite blocks are every bit as good as with ceramics.

Grandio blocs can be processed using standard milling devices. They come in two sizes for inlays/onlays and single crowns as well as in two translucency levels for anterior and posterior restorations.
